Lifted briary aromas with hints of spice, dark chocolate and black berry fruits.
The palate displays sweet dark berry fruit with earthy gravelly notes. Hints of cedar and bayleaf add a nice savoury element to the wine. The wine is rich and complex with great length and balance supported by fine grained tannins and seamlessly integrated French oak.
Goes well withRoasted, pan-seared or slow cooked meats, or crumbly aged cheeses.
