Our 36th vintage of the Dalwhinnie Cabernet. The colour is dark red-purple, the bouquet picks up sandalwood, black berries and hints of cedar cigar box. The wine has immense power and structure – full bodied and rich, very concentrated in its delivery with superb ripe grainy oak tannins. A beautiful Cabernet – one for the cellar.
REVIEW
“Clear, deep crimson-purple; just as you would expect from the region, fully mature vines, the winemaker and the judicious use of French oak. The flavours are deep and deceptively powerful, tannins plentiful, but submerged in the fruit, the overall balance and length faultless.”
